Easy Image Modifier Plus

From InspireSoft, the privately held software development company founded in 2008 by Kevin Schneider that brought you the handy desktop alarm clock Easy Timer Plus, comes the user friendly image editing tool Easy Image Modifier Plus. This is a portable application you can use to crop, rotate, add watermark, rename, convert images and more.

Because Easy Image Modifier Plus is portable, you won’t have to install anything on your PC. What you will have to do though is download a 586Kb archive onto your machine, extract its contents, and run the Easy Image Modifier Plus executable. The first time you do so you will be asked to accept the terms and agreements.

A traditional File Menu is displayed on the application’s interface in the upper left hand corner. Underneath it there are the Choose images, Editing, More, and Saving options. In the upper right hand corner there are big buttons for loading images, loading a folder, and starting the editing process The pane in the lower right hand part displays the images you select for editing. Click an image and a preview window will show up.

Taking advantage of the editing functionality Easy Image Modifier Plus has to offer is a very simple process. To get things done rapidly, you could use one of the several presets available in the appropriately named Presets menu. You can edit the list of existing presets and you can add more presets to the list. If you want to take a more hands-on approach, you can click through the editing functions in the appropriately named menu Editing – it’s in the left hand side of the application’s interface. To add a watermark, for example, you need to click “Add watermark” from the aforementioned “Editing” menu. Click “Activate watermark” to have access to several options; you can add a text watermark with custom text and formatting, you can add an image watermark, and you can select the position of the watermark.

When you’re done selecting the editing options you want to apply, you need only hit the bit “Process” button from the upper right hand corner. The changes you specify will be applied to the selected image. It must be added that besides editing images, Easy Image Modifier Plus can convert and rename images.

Easy Image Modifier Plus is only free to try. The trial version will put a watermark on the output.
